The materials here punish high pressure
Stucco is the clearest example. Gutters, soffits, and the details that read as neglect
On a well-kept house the details are what date it. Gutter exteriors develop vertical tiger striping from runoff, which is a distinct problem from the growth on the walls and does not come off with a normal house wash — it needs its own treatment. Soffits, fascia, porch ceilings, and the underside of eaves hold cobwebs and growth in exactly the places that are visible from the front walk but never quite get looked at.
Roofs, drives, and hardscape
Larger roof planes on shaded lots streak with algae, and roof cleaning must be a soft wash: pressure strips granules and shortens the roof life outright. Drives, walks, and pool surrounds are the opposite — those want a surface cleaner and heat. Where a property has stone or pavers rather than plain concrete, joint sand and setting are a real consideration, and it is worth saying so before anyone starts rather than after.
