Fence & Deck Cleaning in Fort Worth, TX

No surface around a house is damaged by pressure washing more often than a wood fence, and decks are built from the same soft wood. Cleaned gently, the boards come back clean instead of scarred.

Low pressure and a wood-safe solution

Fence and deck cleaning is the removal of the grime and organic growth that darken exterior wood, done gently enough to leave the grain as it was. Standard Power Washing cleans fences and decks at low pressure with a solution suited to wood, never with the force a concrete driveway gets.

What too much pressure does to wood

Fence pickets are thin, and cedar and pine are soft. A stream that concrete would shrug off lifts the fibers, raises the grain and cuts tracks into the face of the boards. Those marks never wash out, and they usually look worse after the wood dries than they did wet.

Both sides of the fence

A fence has two faces, and cleaning only the one you see from the yard leaves the job half done. The shaded side and the side facing the neighbor are the first to grow back when they get skipped, so a proper fence cleaning covers both.

Planning to stain or seal?

Cleaning comes before a stain or sealer, and the wood has to dry out properly in between. The order of the work and the drying time both matter, so tell us when you ask for a quote if staining or sealing is on the list.

Fence, deck and house in one visit

Every visit carries the same fixed costs, such as the drive out, the setup, the water and the pack-down, whatever gets cleaned. Adding a fence or deck to a house wash or a driveway cleaning spreads those costs across more work, so it comes to less than booking each surface on its own.

Fence and deck cleaning FAQs

Can a wood fence be pressure washed without damage?

Yes, as long as the pressure stays low. Pickets are thin, and cedar and pine scar permanently under too much pressure, so fences and decks get a low-pressure wash with a wood-safe solution rather than the force used on concrete.

Should a fence be cleaned before it is stained or sealed?

Yes, and tell us about it when you book. The wood has to dry properly after cleaning before any stain or sealer goes on, so the order of the work and the drying time both need planning.

Why does one side of my fence go green again first?

The shaded side and the side facing the neighbor stay damp longer, so growth comes back there first. Cleaning only the face you see from the yard leaves that growth in place.
